After establishing in 1980, Solid Resources expanded its operation into its region in Malaysia, Indonesia and Hong Kong and then into China in June 1998. Solid Resources then expanded its range of products from power transmissions to security systems. In 1997, Solid Resources established a subsidiary brand ELCOM to deliver quality security systems to businesses and consumers.
